The famous lyric ‘there’s no business like show business’ is certainly fitting for this month’s spectrum of events.
The eclectic mix of events ranges from weddings to theatre shows, guest spots to one man shows, lectures to interviews sharing my favourite tricks.
Providing some unique magic for my friend’s wedding was a big moment for me. I’ve provided close-up magic and small shows to various weddings in the past, but this was extra special as it was part of my best man speech. The bride requested that I produce a dove, and I wanted to create something particularly unique. The linked video gives you a glimpse of me rehearsing for the big day.
This week I’m excited to present an online version of my ‘Openers & Closers’ lecture, an exclusive 1 hour version of my lecture for magicians, that will be live streamed.
Also happening this week is the release of my pre-recorded interview on ‘Desert Island Tricks’, hosted by the brilliant Jamie Daws for Alakazam Magic. I had the opportunity to pick my favourite tricks and talk about all things magic – it was a real honour to be involved. At the end of month, I travel to the amazing Magic Bar Live! in Llandudno to perform my one man show at their stunning magic themed bar. If you’ve never been, you have to visit the next time you find yourself in the Welsh seaside resort. More info & tickets here
Next month, the incredibly successful Curious Cabaret is running a week of shows in the first week of July in various selected venues in the Nottingham area, and I’m honoured to be one of the guest acts during the week’s run. Click here for tickets & dates
