Maestro Magic

It’s now been a whole month since the excitement of Edinburgh, which has given me a chance to recover, restore, reset and regain energy for the next chapter of the show’s journey.

Thrilled to say that Magic Maestro will travel to venues around the country over the next few months, from Essex to Shropshire and Lancashire. Having the opportunity to ‘run the show in’ during the two weeks spent at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival was a fantastic opportunity for the show to evolve, improve and grow. I’ve got more plans in mind to make further tweaks over the next few months – it’s always a continuous process to make it the best it can be.

The original intention was to roll my all time favourite pieces of magic into one show, but as it developed, it slowly turned into a story of magic and music.

The show includes a mixture of eclectic music – the soundtrack to my childhood that I would listen to on a vintage gramophone whilst performing magic: golden memories that certainly shaped me as a person, and magician.

During the show I turn bubbles into glass spheres, pluck music notes from the air, turn members of the audience into mind-readers and perform sleight-of-hand card routines accompanied by an old recording of my dad playing the piano.

My baby daughter Ophelia pulls off perhaps the biggest part of the show during the finale, as the world’s first mind-reading baby. Rest assured, she receives full credit during the show PLUS a small commission of the ticket sales.

As I mentioned, there’s yet more new acts planned for the show over the next couple of months, so if you’d like to see this for yourself, book your tickets.
