2025 sees the West End Magic show set off on it’s 3rd nationwide tour…Very exciting!
Our next date is coming up on the 19th February at the Little Theatre, in Leicester, before heading on to our residency venue at the Leicester Square Theatre, in London.
The show started at the London venue in 2013 and came about because I have a huge love for performing in London. For some reason, there is always an extra buzz when presenting an act on stage in the nations capital. There is an air of excitement that is never captured anywhere else, plus the English metropolis has a very rich history with the performing art. Iconic magicians such as Houdini, Chung Ling Soo and the first president of the Magic Circle, David Devant, became household names during the golden era of magic during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
For some years, there hadn’t been a regular magic show in a central location, so a dream formulated of putting on a regular family show that would feature a continuous selection of magic and variety acts chosen from some of the best in the country. I had no idea that 13 years later the show would still be running and then go on to tour the country!
So, now here we are embarking on our 3rd nationwide tour, with our next show at a beautifully named theatre in the capital city of Leicestershire: The Little Theatre. It’s our first time performing the show in the area and it will also be the first show welcoming our new regular cast member, Jezo.
Jez, real name Jez Bond, was born into a theatrical family and began entertaining at an early age as a magician and DJ. After studying Performing Arts, he set up his own business as an entertainer, compère and DJ and has enjoyed success ever since with both children and adult audiences at all types of events. He is a high energy performer with a natural flair for comedy and magic: we love his manic style of performing and can’t wait to welcome him on board!
He’ll be joining some bloke called Oliver Tabor performing his extraordinary illusions: making you wonder whether reality really can be bent and manipulated. Plus compère and host Wayne Trice, who continuously attempts to escape from his suit jacket and fairytale illusionists The Glamourists: Vicky Butterfly and that Oliver Tabor again!
